Reparata was a 3rd-century martyr from Palestine. Under the orders of Emperor Decius, she was tortured and eventually martyred. Here, she is shown carrying a pot of boiling lead, which was poured over her head in an attempt to make her recant her faith and make offerings to Roman gods. Reparata's hagiography says God protected her, and she was unharmed by the lead.
